In 1973 my friend Polly (the chick with the apartment) said, "you gotta hear this", and she put on a song ... the piano intro led into "I've seen the bright lights of Memphis", and I suddenly was paying way more attention. Little Feat's music has been my constant companion ever since.
From 1997 it has been a rare privilege to be able to photograph the band that has been at the top of my list for the last 30 years ... the combination of music and photography is my idea of heaven on earth, and the opportunity I've had to spend time at shows, either in the wings or in front of the speakers, is unequalled in the sheer joy it has brought me. Add to that the privilege of getting to meet and know the band members, as well as a whole host of wonderful people who happen to be feat fans, and you have the combination that has had me grinning from ear to ear ever since.
Being a show off (like most artists), I like to share my work with others, so here in you will find my favorite images from 5 1/2 years and 50 some odd shows ... not that I'm done yet. As long as they play, I'll play.
Check back every once in a while ... there'll be new stuff added as time permits. go look
"Don't say I'm finished, no, I'll tell you when I'm done. Until that time, I ain't had enough fun"
